“Korean was our tourguide, friendly and spoke English well. Started with a visit to the Buddhist temple, then to the market. We stopped at different food vendors and Ko offered good info on the different types of food. Then visited a shrine. I personally found being with group limiting as there are so many different things to sample, the group is limiting. The sushi lesson was informative and fun. Picked up some good info and enjoyed it. Bring your own water to drink as they only provide cold green tea, which is good, but I would have had water too.”

“Great tour! The guide was amazing and the food was incredible. We did 830 on Saturday morning (it was drizzling rain a bit) and it was very crowded, so if you can, I recommend mid week. We had a great time tasting all the food and the presentation from the Chef at our last stop. Our guide even explained a lot of history, we met at a Shinto shrine and were able to do the cleansing ceremony before the tour. He also explained a lot about the market food and helped us pick out the right tea to bring home!”

“We really enjoyed the tour as it’s very eye-opening for us, to be at the market and witnessed the auctioning process. Our guide, Mayumi, did a great job by explaining to us the process and also introduced to us the history of the market. It’s also very clean and barely had any strong fishy smell, considering we are right in the market. Later on, Mayumi also recommended a very good sushi restaurant where we had super fresh sashimi. We had a chance to tour Toyosu Market and shopping for dried mushrooms, dried kombu, and even very high quality kitchen knife is a must! Later on Mayumi took us to Tsukiji…”
